Garment Manufacturing Technologists
Garment manufacturing technologists or garment technologists are the bridge between designs and manufacture, they take the sample and plan the way in which the garment will be made. If a design proves too complicated or expensive the garment manufacturing technologist will work with the designer to reach a compromise perhaps changing some details in a way which will reduce the number and complexity of the manufacturing operations but still retain the designer's concept.
